Shu Chien Early Career Lecturers

To foster the promotion of pre-tenured faculty and inter-UC-Campus activities between bioengineering departments and programs across the UC system, the Bioengineering Institute of California organizes the annual Shu Chien Early Career Lecturer Award to be given to a junior UC-bioengineering and biomedical engineering faculty who demonstrates outstanding scholarly achievement.

Each campus has nominated a pre-tenured faculty member to present a talk at the symposium. The 2022 Shu Chien Early Career Award will be presented to one of the Early Career Lecturers as voted by an Awards Committee.
